ECIT classrooms are located on the main floor of the Woodruff Library. ECIT 214, our incubator classroom, is where new technologies and methodologies can be evaluated by faculty in a real classroom environment. Workstations in ECIT 214 have high speed internet connections to support delivery of multimedia rich content. ECIT 215 is a shared space between University Technology Services (UTS) and Woodruff Library, hosting classes during the day and becoming a group study room after hours. ECIT 217 connects students on the main campus with others at Emory's Oxford campus (approx. 45 minutes away), and with students all over the globe. The Teaching Theatre is a unique space available to small groups and faculty wishing to test their interactive content before deploying in the classroom.
All ECIT classrooms have connectivity to Emory's wireless network. ECIT's facilities are available at no charge to those in the Emory community who are working in direct support of the teaching, learning and research mission of the University. Academic classes receive priority in using ECIT classrooms and workspaces. When spaces are not being used for a scheduled activity, they are available to other entities at a nominal rate. Rates vary with specific spaces and associated technology requested.
Please use the classroom request form to inquire about availability for your event. If you are requesting a classroom or other space within ECIT, please allow 36 -48 hours for ECIT to reply.
